    Duties:

    • To work with the Chief Executive of the Trust and the other Project Managers in ensuring that the Trust's work follows the emerging 3 year Development Plan
    • To take specific responsibility for managing some of the community development staff currently working in Brighton and Hove neighbourhoods
    • To be responsible for developing and delivering new projects in Brighton and Hove and the wider South East region in collaboration with the Trust's Chief Executive
    • To undertake discrete commissions and consultancies and to help the delivery of the Trust's community development training when required

    Duties:

    • To liaise with the Projects Co-ordinator in ensuring that monitoring and evaluation procedures are in place as directed
    • To give feedback to the Projects Co-ordinator regarding the specialist hub progress
    • To complete a brief sessional report and circulate to all artists after each session
    • To liaise via email with artists, to ensure they are aware of the progress of the project
    • To ensure the sessions and course as a whole are evaluated by the participants, in line with the hub4 measures as directed
    • To support participants in attaining their Bronze Arts Award through the Specialist training hub
    • To arrange extra sessions where appropriate to support participants with the Bronze Arts Award, being contracted separately through Artswork for this extra work
    • To document sessions as directed
    • To undertake necessary health and safety procedures and risk assessments for all drop in sessions

    Research on the role of women in the media industries.

    PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR, London Borough of Redbridge and University of East London

    "Developing Young People Participation in the Community" E-democracy project.
    April 2005 to September 2003

    Duties:

    • Liasing with different stakeholders;
    • Visits to community centres establishing links with young people;
    • Interview design and implementation in young peoples centres;
    • Liasing with designers to produce an interactive platform for young people;

    Other administrative tasks included:

    • Chairing meetings with stakeholders,
    • Production of minutes and monthly updates to be circulated in the borough;
    • Establishment of space of dialogue amongst the different groups working in the borough;
    • Creation of a database with all the groups working with young people in Redbridge.

    Duties:

    • Preparation of materials for UK seminar;
    • Assistance in the organisation of the seminar;
    • Production and preparation of a paper highlighting the accessibility repercussions of the project.

    Duties:

    • Compilation of the research data and production of background material for the final report;
    • Preparation of a draft of the final report and preparation of a conference paper highlighting the main findings of the project.

    Project coordinated by Rix Centre (former Multimedia and Learning Disabilities Centre)

    Duties:

    • Identification and establishment of links with organisations in the UK working on projects that connected the arts, technology and disability;
    • Design of a system with appropriate contacts per area of specialisation

    PROJECT FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR, WSIS Gender Caucus

    January 2004- July 2003

    Duties:

    • Maintenance of the day-to-day financial situation of this virtual organisation;
    • Emission of payments to international consultants based around the globe to assist the Summit in Geneva and for the consultancies provided to the organisation;
    • Design of an appropriate system of invoices and receipts;
    • Creation and maintenance of a finance system in compliance with the requirements of the donors.
